RTW starts instead of EB, but the solution is missing
Now, I have found the solution to this problem already, problem is that i cant execute it.
I installed EB on my laptop twice, including 1.2 and the fixes and all.
Now I decided to install it on my desktop.
I did that, installed 1.2, the fixes, and force diplomacy(all worked fine on my laptop)
So when I start it up, RTW starts up instead.
I know the way to get around it is to start from "EB Single Player" which I did on my laptop, but the problem is...I dont have that shortcut. Nor do I have Multiplayer, or any of the other ones that should be in that clump.
Otherwise, it seems to have installed fine.
I can reinstall, I suppose, but it took me a while to extract everything and do it all, so if it has been uploaded(and that would work for me), or if you have a solution, please tell.
Edit-Well, I reinstalled everything. Same problem. In addition ,I now realize that the path of the ev shortcut is to the RTW exe

If you do not have those shortcuts, it means you most likely did not choose to install the "Trivial Script" this time around. You can reinstall and make sure to install the "Trivial Script" or just add " -mod:eb" to the end of the "Target" line in "Properties" of a RTW shortcut.

Re: RTW starts instead of EB, but the solution is missing
I already installed trivial, but dont seem to have a shortcut for the vanilla version of the game, didnt want to make one. Even adding the line into the EB shortcut, and the Rome exe that I can use to start vanilla, doesnt work. Any ideas?

If you had installed the trivial script, you would have the "Play Single Player" shortcut.
If you don't have the Start Menu shortcut or a desktop shortcut, you'll have to make a shortcut from scratch.

Ah. Discovered the problem.
Making the 1.1 installer open was always difficult, so I tried to open it several times. Then when it finally did open, I installed it, then went to close the other setup boxes-which the trivial script was a part of. Hadnt realized it was a seperate install.
Thanks, Marcus. The Greeks must hate you now...
