What, specifically, are you guys talking about? The show, Battles BC, is historically inaccurate? I haven't seen much of the series, so what exactly is wrong with it?

I wouldn't disagree the historical accuracy, but the representation of the battles is very unrealistic, and the "300" style is very degrading imo. Its like thinking that only way to teach the math is making the Rap song form it, same thing about this show. Do they think that young people are so generally uninterested in history that they have to wrap it in some sort of hentai-power ranger shiny package just to keep them interested!?

Btw, has anyone watched the Ultimate Warrior (or something like that) where they compare two unusual opponents in form of "who's better". For those who have never seen the show, they compare 4 diff weapons from each opponent in terms of lethality, armor piercing property, and force, and then they "simulate" the battle to see who would win.
Next episode will be 14ct Knight vs. Pirate

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah...I know what you're talking about now. Lol. My girlfriend, who hasn't the faintest interest in military history, was laughing at me for watching that show. I actually enjoyed it until I realized the battle scenes were all basically identical. They fight like ninja's and whatnot...doing backflips and fighting like Crouching Tiger, Hidden, Dragon.

There's a few very knowledgeable guys on the show. The battles scenes eventually are distracting and get in the way of the actual information though. Strelac, the Ultimate Warrior show is pretty cool. And there's another one with a Special Forces dude who tries out different weapons and fighting tecniques. I think its called, "Warriors." Cool stuff.

M2TWRocks: yes, its so historically inaccurate that its funny at first then within ten minutes sickening. oh, well, just think this: six foot tall, twin sword wielding, six pack abed, bald, half naked Hannibal riding accross the alps on his eliphant. and thats just he beginning, A mafai King David, GCI horrer, an army of Romans with mucled breat plates, and 300 style fighting and battle screams make up the "latest and greatest" History channel show

Battles B.C. needs to be cancelled, immediately. Yes, it is that bad. 2 minutes of watching this was all I needed. Never again. It's so damn corny.

lol Battles BC is like 300 but more they show the same fight sence like 4 diffrent tiems during the movie. tho it is historiclly accurate.

Yeah, I think it was the episode with Hannibal where he was portrayed as this giant behemoth, glistening with sweat, on the back of a ferocious elephant. Lol. And then he's like in the midst of battle, taking on the entire enemy army by himself. Lol.
