We're not allowed to post unmodded files in the forum.

I will have a look at the RS1.5c one and see if it's been modified at all (I guess that it has). If you do any modding of files it's always best to keep a copy of the file before the change. Also it's best to copy the entire games folder and apply mods to that. In other words keep the original game folder clean of any changes.

Excellent news. Post back if you still need it.

To be honest there I see no real harm in it since the text files are no use to anyone unless they have the executive and the pak files. But rules are rules.
Protein cores made in the rough endoplasmic reticulum are posttranslationally modified by glycosyltransferases in the Golgi apparatus, where GAG disaccharides are added to protein cores to yield proteoglycans; the exception is hyaluronan, which is uniquely synthesized without a protein core and is "spun out" by enzymes at cell surfaces directly into the extracellular space.

Whether you see any harm in it is immaterial, posting unmodified game files is illegal and against the ToS and is punished quite severely here.

I received unmodified game files over IM and Email for various other games where I've damaged OGN and INI files by mistake. Did I do something wrong?

I know; I have read the ToS. And I am well aware that my opinion is immaterial. But I am still allowed to have an opinion, right?

if it's not on the boards, you're all safe. if it is, be quiet about it, don't mention it or do it again, and you're cool.

Not on any forum and not RTW files. So I'm safe... Cool...

Anyway, to the OP; you should really make yourself a backup folder unless it is impractical.

And I did! I just forget because I had only done it a few hours before by deleting a different install and replacing it with a copy of RS.

easy solution, save your files, un install and re install. very simple, I thought that would be obvious
