Trouble installing 1.2 patch

I downloaded and installed the 1.2 patch but when I start the game it still says 'Version 1.1' on the start menu. I may have installed it in the wrong file, where is it supposed to go. Someone also said somethng about deleting some EB files after installation, can you clear this up please?

You have probably installed EB 1.2 inside EB 1.1. If that is the case then you have an EB folder inside your EB folder. You can delete that EB folder inside the other one and then reinstall EB 1.2.

Make sure your EB 1.2 is installed to the same target as 1.1.

e.g. if you install EB 1.1 to C:\Games\Rome - Total War
then you'll have to install EB 1.2 also to C:\Games\Rome - Total War.


(You probably installed it to C:\Games\Rome - Total War\EB, don't do that)

Ok thanks a lot I'll try that. I found he 1.2 EB folder inside my original EB folder like you said. So delete that and reinstall it to the same folder as EB 1.1 right?
