Does she really deserve the attention she's getting? Or is at all about an orchestrated "Reality" Show?

No she does not. It's all about raising awareness of their show.

    Allvoices.com? Ugh...

But to answer your question: No.

Paul Potts was in my opinion a down-to-earth guy, but she.... bleeeeegggggh.

Maybe she could get a career singing in cartoon movies like Disney where no one can see what she looks like. Haha oh that's messed up of me.

Well considering how the audience treated her and the judges she does well every one deserves success.

Yeah, but it's at face value. She might get an album contract or something and do maybe one or two albums but it doesn't matter how skilled she is. She's ugly, really ugly in fact, and in this world we live in it's not how well you sign, it's how you look and how you can be marketed. She can't be marketed, so she'll get her five, or even ten minutes of fame and then she'll fade. At least Potts is wants to be in opera, which is completely doable. But maybe I'm just a cynical superficial prick and I'm wrong. Who knows?

I don't see any serious musical career, but that really doesn't matter because she has an amazing voice. Like everyone else I was just flabbergasted when I heard her sing because I was laughing before.

I had more of a reaction when I saw Paul Potts. I don't know man, I just got goose bumps when he started belting out Nessun Dorma. But she didn't impress me as much, despite her fantastic voice. Maybe it was those eye brows that just destroyed it for me.

She kinda looks like that terribly annoying juror. Anyway, nothing special, you will find those voices in any granny choir.

Seeing Simon's face the moment her mouth opened to sing was priceless.

It was a pretty epic win for Ms Boyle, but I think her succes is way overrated.
    Ok, she can sing.
    But dude, she's ugly

She can sing well, but its overrated. It wasn't amazing, and the only reason people act amazed is that they expected her to be awful due to her looks and personality.

If she can go somewhere with her singing then good for her. But much of the world is populated by discriminating arses, especially the entertainment industry. She doesn't fit society's ideal for "beauty", that makes untalented people like Ms Spears or Lopez to go far, and talented people who don't have the looks go nowhere.

If you are an overweight woman the only thing companies will support you in is opera or hiphop, the latter only if you're also black.
