Default (as USA) Any downside to kicking person out of power?

Just curious... My government popularity tends to hover around 90% as the USA and it doesn't really change no matter which decision I make on this.

But, whenever a person in power becomes "morally impaired" and earns a trait of decreasing population happiness I always kick that person of power. They're immediately replaced, no big deal.

Is there any downside to this that I'm missing or is it really this easy?

It's really that easy, if the ppl don't like they "replace it"
No heroes, no villains, only conflicting perspectives with regards to a specific object.

    Good Question

That's one side of the game I really have paid much attention to - I'm still used to the MTW2/RTW family tree -

When you kick a person out does it get another governor, public servant or general?

If you are a Republic or a Constitutional Monarchy, a booted minister is automatically replaced through "election" (ie you don't get to choose the replacement). In an Absolute Monarchy, you simply drag and drop the portrait of the minister you want to place in the office from the pool of candidates at the bottom. Either way, the replacement is immediate.

Apart from losing a founding father, no...

I mean, who really likes Ben Franklin anyway?

No downside whatsoever, except it is random in the republic for who comes to power, and there is only one switch per turn.

Little off topic, but how high did your approval rating ever go to? Mine, impossible enough, went to 102%. I think some people voted twice
