Palestinians, white people or brown people?

I have read in another topic that the West doesnt seem to care about the palestinians cos they are brown and israelis are white but this raised a question. I have seen enough documentaries based on palestine and i have seen lots of palestians many of them were white skinned though many as well were also brown so what are they? white or brown???

I'm sure it has nothing at all to do with skin color, but moreso with the past history, religeous affiliation, and the large influence from MANY successful Jewish folks in America.

about 1.5 milion people came to israel after the soviet union fell, and there are people from latin america , and from ethiopa and many other countries,
so it's not really surprising that there are white people in israel.

obviously those who moved to Europe mixed with Europeans hence the wide disparity(at least vis-a-vis Palestinians) amongst the Jewish populus. neither race is caucasian. The Somali jews and the Russian jews look a world apart and can only be explained by the possibility of mixing with the ethnic groups of the regions they lived in

Yes. Contary to the whole Arab-Israeli conflict thing, the Palestinians aren't truely Arab. They are only culturally Arabic, and are as native to the land as the Jews are.

You are aware of the fact that there are many "brown" Jewish israelis, the successors of the jews that were expelled from Arab countries?
Iraqi, Moroccan, Yemenite, Iranian, Syrian, you name it.
Sephardic Jews are also not exactly white people.
