it registers the saves though when i just open it without using gamebooster and gamebox.

I've used Game Booster off and on since it was first released.
did you lose your saves or just can't save now?

How about without Gamebox?

Bet Gamebox is the problem, not Game Booster.

Don't use Gamebox. In fact, I have not heard of it until now.

Odds are it's overriding some of the Windows permissions the game needs for saves.

gamebox is the part of gamebooster where you have your games and thankyou for your help i fixed it. Plus do you know if it works with steam games.

Yes, it works with Steam games. I did not know Gamebox was part of it. My copy is older than yours, then.

Did you change any of the default settings using the 'configure' button in the GameBox?

Games and virtually all applications are limited to 2 GB of memory; which is usually the limit for all 32-bit applications. Though one can compile a program to use more memory, this is very rare and thus generally all windows applications are limited to 2GB memory. Including x86 Games.

So if a user has 4GB+ RAM installed then there's no need to install such programs. And even if the setup is <4GB then one just has to make sure that he's playing games with a default processes setup so that certain bloatwares don't eat up space. Extra free space in RAM is useful as filecache & helps in subsequential accesses on HDD but if you're using a SSD then even that is not required anymore.

A program that will be of interest of modders that have to handle updates:

Attribute Changer

I use it to set all files and folders to the same date before uploading my work.Then I do the same again with updates, that way it's pretty easy to keep track which files have been worked on and which ones are from previous updates or original.
