Is that your graphics card? According to the Dell website it is. If it is it's so bad it can't even run the main menu. Simple as that. I have seen this problem over on the official forums and that's always the answer. Your laptop wasn't designed for games.

Look at those FPS results for games that are ancient compared to ETW.

Graphics card should be in and around the power of a Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3.
If you switch to Vista you need 2GB of RAM.

I run the game on Ultra with an 8800GT which is < HD4850..
