Default Weird CTD , not a memory leak ?

Lately I have been getting a very strange CTD . Before the screen will go white and the error pop up will show up and Ill see memory leak images in my C: drive with lines running across . So I knew those were memory leaks and such . But now is when it gets weird , I cant get past the 10th turn for any campaign I start and when I get a CTD , theres no blinking white page and pop up box , just goes straight to the desktop . And when I look to see if the memory leak images come out theres nothing . What do you guys think is causing this ? It just happend recently since I was able to get to 1798 on my first campaign and ever since then its been hell ...

It might be RAM stability. ETW uses RAM like no other game. try removing and swapping RAM sticks.

I have x2gb RAM and everything seems to be working fine . Are you sure you want me to go ahead and try swapping places ?
