Can factions re-emerge from more than one province?

My main question is: do factions have only one province they can (re-)emerge or can they emerge from more than one provinces?

I'd like to know for example where the Turks re-emerge once they've been destroyed.
This because the core region of the Ottoman Empire would be by far Anatolia yet it is seperated from the capital situated in Rumelia. So do the Turks re-emerge from Rumelia or Anatolia (or both)?

I'm pretty sure they can, Denmark conquered Sweden in my Campaign only to re-emerge in its old province of Finland not too long after, and get re-conquered not much after that.

Sometimes--consider how each of the US states can emerge as the USA, not just one of them.

You have to go into the region_manager in startpos.esf, and each region has a "rebel faction" listed--when the "rebel faction" for the region is the name of an actual faction, then that faction can emerge from that region.

So you could just check Rumelia and Anatolia and see whether both regions have the ottomans as their rebel faction. If they don't, you could easily change that.
