Empire.exe error HELP

Hello guys ... well my problem is when i open the game the game close and give this error Empire.exe have found an error
AppName: empire.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.0 ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.5755 Offset: 00028c0b
well i have read a lot of foruns and they say can be Direct X or Drivers... well my computer have the last version of drivers and my direct X is 9.0C
My CPU: core 2 quad 2.4gh
2 G ram
250 HD
Ati HD 3870 512 MB
Motherboard Asus pn5-e sli
And i have windows XP proficional

try again. Also if you have a mod reinstall the game

lol dude i have already reinstalled the game for about 10 times... and give the same error....

then the disc is scratched, steam hates you or your pc aint good 'nuff

Wow i have news... i have reinstalled the directX and now dont give error ... but keep closing the game

I'm sorry... you may be one of the many that has a bad game. Oh wait... we all got the bad game...? Some people are just lucky and are getting it to work fine on their systems. Keep reading these and the official totalwareforums.com to see that this is a normal error. Should be addressed in their next patch.

kkk... i just want to play the game T.T
dude... seriously what is the problem of this game... it is the only i cant play ...he gets 25G of my HD so... i am angry
I just understand why NOT RUN!!!!!!! i have resolved the last error , it was the direct X i got to unistall all my direct X Roll back to the original that comes in the CD and then instal 9.0C again
