Swayze Test 1: Artillery Reload Time

For those of you wondering whether or not it is worth while to upgrade your artillery, you may be interested in a test I have run.

I have attached the results of my first artillery test, conducted on 12lb artillery.

I have broken down reload time improvements per chevron upgrade.

Of course more tests will need to be run but I thought I would share my findings thus far.

Hmm it's interesting that the reload time doesn't actually increase too much as experience does. How about accuracy though? Will a Cannonball land where you want it to more at higher levels of experience? That's why i try to increase cannon accuracy.

I am working on a viable and fair way of testing accuracy improvements.

I will update soon with these findings and also for other artillery units (horse drawn and howitzer)

btw. dont you find it annoying that you cant see how long the reloading has come in the battle? It would be nice to have a little red circle around some button, like the broadside in naval battles. If would be nice to see it on your other ranged units aswell
