    Default Help with gloss file

Could someone plz put up a link to a blocked out gloss file so nothing from the game shows through?? (from what I've read I think it has to be blocked out useing red alpha channel)

The picture programme I use don't have alpha channels so I'm haveing to use a gloss file from game and it's showing parts on my texture I don't want.

    If so many thx

I think atm Euro Light Infantry as its for a unit were working on, I have been playing around with the alpha channel also with no luck, I have painted the masked areas all black but all that does is turn the units coats black, I have played around with the opacity of the masked areas and even changed the colour from Red (as they are British) to green the wanted colour but still no luck..

A wild guess but what would happen if we deleted or uploaded just a black one?!

You don't play with the red, green or blue channels to do this, you just black out the alpha1 channel which is black and white. I will upload one anyway as I have just the thing lying about. the green channel is for the 'gloss' effect btw, paint something in that channel like buttons and they shine. The red is for a raised effect, good for lining and piping etc. I don't know what the blue is for so just leave that.
