DAMN SUBJECTS!!!!

HOW DARE THEY...continue to protest my right given by God to rule over them. For almost 15 straight years I continue to have to put down rebellions in my beloved Austrian Empire. Gutter trash, commies and heretics continue to pillage my vast improvements. That's why we don't have nice things

! Thankfully I'm able to equip sizable armies to garrison these troubled lands with good patriotic stock! Coin that can be used to better their lives must instead be used to purchase the finest soldiers from the best prisons in Austria.

And all this trouble from peasants who think by casting a piece of paper they can control this vast Empire. They would be better using the paper to wipe their arse!

Serious question though. Once I finish my tech will the clamour for reform go away if I disband all those universities? I really want to keep the absolute monarchy but it is becoming a serious pain constantly putting down these rebellions. Have tried to increase the garrisons for their towns and charging no taxes but doesn't seem to be doing any good

. I'm letting them keep all their money and their using it to buy weapons!

Really miss the exterminate command from RTW!

Yes, clamour for reform will disappear when you destroy the schools. Also, abolition of slavery removes 4 Clamour for Reform points, but makes farmes more expensive. I never had problems with that tough, just make sure to also build some entertainment buildings in your regions with schools, and best keep you schools in your home regions.

the clamor caused by universities will go away.. the clamor from the technologies will not... i usually leave the enlightenment technologies for last

cool you get endless battles which could of course get dull in time.

destroying universities do get rid of the clamour of reform in that region. i do that after researching all the techs.
