White Company
Hello,
Concerning the White Company in RK; I lost the White Company that is given to the player in the army across the river in my first battle...but don't know how.
I had only one loss in the unit...could it have been the Captain and that's why the whole unit is now gone?
Also, how did you manage to have a foot and horse general in the same faction? Very cool indeed.

Since the unit is a general bodyguard unit, if the captain dies, the unit is gone as well.
FATW was the mod that pioneered multiple recruitable bodyguards iirc, MasterOfNone has written a short guide on this, here.

I always thought it was BI that pioneered RGUs...
Btw, I think White Company would be better without the prec attribute. It is annoying not being able to direct their fire without them charging about.

I think so. It is an elite unit, and there is great risk that AI make mad rushs at the enemy in AI-hands dueIs to do with the way the AI uses it or something?
to its high stats if they are skirmishunits.
I guess the prec-ability also means they can be given a separete place in RK:s formations as heavy_pilum_infantry which is a neat feature.

Yes, they are prec units in order to avoid the foot-missile bug, mostly.
