    hello,
    i would like to use parts from dome's work and incorporate them together with my own work to get new units.
    this will result in new order units (templars, hospitallers,sergeants, and maybe some other) that booth Magyar and Adriatic mod can use.

    do I have permission ?

    I would like to take this opportunity to give my sincere thanks to dome and Csatádi for their permission to use their outstanding Magyar units in SS RR/RC. These units have a wonderful medieval atmosphere that is IMHO unsurpassed in M2TW modding. I look forward to consulting with them on their correct implementation into SS RR/RC, which (finally!) does have historical accuracy as a primary goal

    Requesting permission to use Magyar mod content to remake the Hungarian faction for the next release of Chivalry II: The Sicilian Vespers.

    Map



    The provinces are left to right Transdanubia, Alfold, and Transylvania.

    The two rebel provinces to the south are the Banates of Slavonija and Temesvar.


    Darkage Roster



    1) Peasant Levies, Town Militia, Slav Levies, Croat Axemen, Szekely Darabontok, Spear Militia, Csikosok, Halberd Militia

    2) Magyar Darabontok, Dismounted Feudal Milites, Dismounted Nobiles, Peasant Archers, Servientes Balistarii, Arquebusieri, Militia Pasesarii Balistarii, Dismounted Inek

    3) Husars, Merchant Cavalry Militia, Feudal Milites, Royal Banderium, Magyar Bok (Bodyguard), Magnates, Nobiles, Milites Hospitalis

    4) Inek, Valagatott Harcosok, AOR & Mercs ->

    Not shown is a Válogatott kabarok unit. This unit is mixed in with the AOR and merc units.

    Some of the obviously out of place units are not recruitable in the darkage, but stil appear on the list.

    The Sicilian Vespers mod is know for a high degree of historical accuracy, and I would like to extend this to Hungary, with your help.

    I forwarded your PM to dome because he made the visual parts.
    I have bad memories toward Chivalry TW but the things may have changed.

    Your whole Eastern Europe map is vanilla therefore very bad. I suggest to download and see the Magyar Mod or if you want more than 150 provinces than the Reality Mod http://www.filefront.com/17479228/realitymodg2x.zip/
    We both made many geographical and political corrections.

    What periods does dark and early age mean exactly?

    The two kind of eras has the same units. I cannot advice you anything about them because its a complete mess this way. Do you want to copy our troop tree or not? If yes, you can find everything in our edu and edb.

    I agree. Judging by the 1080y screenshot I must say representation of Poland (and lands around) is tragic. Though I would probably have to make Polish mod with beatiful Polish units in order to force people into historical corrections Life is so brutal

    You may see your idea doesn't work.

    We don't want to force anybody. We just have a firm decision to support only historical mods.
    The expression 'historical' might sound obscure however a correct map is a significant part of it.

    The map is based on the Regions and Provinces map. Right now, I am in the process of revising factions. These revisions (All Islamic factions, ERE, Armenia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Rus, Mongols, Kipqaks, so far) have made the East much more interesting, and I do have plans to remove some provinces from the Americas to add to Eastern Europe. Eventually adding Lithuania as well.

    Version 3.3 was a big jump from the past version, and 4.0 will an even greater leap. Many complete faction reskins, etc...

    The Darkage campaign begins in 888AD, and is still in beta. It is very stable, but I consider it beta because there is much work I would still like to do before I would be happy. The Magyars start in Etelkoz and there are spawned invasion in Hungary proper. I still have more to do in this area as well regarding the Muslims and Viking raids, and perhaps Magyar incursion into Italy and Germany.

    The other campaigns are Early 1080, High 1212, Late 1311, Renaissance 1401.

    I would like to use as many of your units as possible. Basically using Magyar mod as a guide remake Hungary.

    An historically accurate map is dependent on the mods focus. Looking at your map. I would say how historical is a map with only one province in Sicily? At this time the richest kingdom I Europe. The kings of Sicily earned more income from the capital (Palermo), than thekings of England from thei entire kingdom.

    It is all a matter of perspective.


    I acknowledge the map could be improved, and said I would do so.


    I came here to do honor to your mod and was disrespected (not by you Ctatadi)

    Take it easy. Many people cannot forgive to the CA even after 4 years of the release.

    Silesian_Noble helped me a lot drawing Poland and coding resources.

    Hello,

    I am working for a mod by the name of Cold Blood: TW and it is basically an expansion to the Teutonic campaign from kingdoms. I was wondering if we'd be aloud to use some of this mod's unit models and textures as bases for our own units. Full credit will be given where applicable.

    I'm the team leader of Cold Blood...We have plan to start our campain in 1260...Cold Blood is an historical mod so what roaster would be the best for us?...Which units we have to use?
