    Default Question about 'Immobile' generals

So, I was just bored and playing around with some files today and I decided to remove all immobile traits from the descr_strat file. Anyone have a good guess as to what might happen as my next campaign plays out. I mostly removed it to further make the unplayable factions more 'playable.' I gave those factions victory conditions as well just to have something to shoot for. But, lets say I decide against playing as one of those factions. What do you think would be the most likely result of those AI factions now having very able generals? (other than the obvious that they'll be able to leave their starting cities )
Right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must.

The whole world as we know it will quickly turn green as the independent Greeks cease to be independent and emerge from their numerous, well-placed, well-fortified cities and will destroy every other puny faction that gets in their way.

They would probably be wiped out faster, because they would leave their cities undefended.

I guess that does make sense. So far the funny thing is that most of these newly able generals end up staying in the cities anyway. They send out captains instead. It makes you wonder if they're going to do that anyway how come an immobile general would stop them from doing it just the same.

I had a GCI campaign going at one point. It wasn't the legendary Seleucid gang bang but it didn't take too many years to rack up quite a few enemies all the while avoiding conflict like the plague. I had nearly destroyed Rome in just a few years though.
King Pyrrhus' elephants were the saving grace. I had to defeat Decius Mus and take Cannae and Capua all in the first turn just to stay out of a negative balance.

How come every time I bribe a general/family member from the Indie Greeks, he dies two turns later?

This seemed like an appropriate topic to ask in without starting another one.

I have a bunch of bribed indie greek family members. In fact, my faction leader is just that. I didn't set him as heir either, it just automatically picked him as he was pretty good. He still has "the Rootless" title too, which is just odd for a faction leader. In any case, I haven't noticed them dying off quickly. He's getting close to 80 years old and I think I bribed him when he was 30 something.
