    Hei

i startet as austrian on right side.

i choosed only one arty because i wanted the more of infanteri

The way to my side-enemy was very long. so i didnt wanted to run fast with my cav

two waves of mortars shoots kills my 3 bat light moving cav.

next mortars kills my general in forrest.

on half way to my enemy i loosed my key-units.

what is the way to deal with this situation?

how can i move safely with my cav?

i saw my replay and noticed, that the left side from my enemy was open- but i havent any cav.

its is so stupid that u have no clue which and where the units of the enemy are choosen and placed.

and the game starts und u think: oh hell...

So games make me depressive and i ask me, why i ant to playing this game anymore..

have u an advice for me based on my replay?

    Thx

You need a more balanced army. 2 cavalry at least, one on each flank. Jaegars to skirmish, one or two artillery pieces and the rest should be line infantry. Keep your general out of mortar range.

It only makes sense you can't see what units the enemy has chosen and where he has placed them. And you should move quicker. If he only had two mortar units, he should not have killed your general and cavalry. You must have kept your cavalry in a very tight formation if they got killed. Keep them out of range before you attack.

Let me say a few things, im not being mean this is constructive. Just because you lost a game doesnt mean you should quit the game! Not everyone can be super good at a game the first time they play it. It takes time to learn and practice to become good. After every match you lose ask yourself, what could I have done better and what were my major mistakes? Don't be afraid to play non-ranked games to try new strats. Posting a replay of a loss asking for advice is a good idea imo, dont let people criticize you, take it constructively! I also suggest finding a buddy to play with in some 1v1 or 2v2. Get on vent, and just talk, learn and, more importantly, have fun! Good luck !

    aha

my enemy had 6 bat mortars- and i move my cav forward. maybe not fast enough- but the area was so wide- i didnt want to make them sleepy

mortar shoots have not limited muni or?

it fells so crazy that he can shoot the hell out of my head- and he can hits me everywhere so my troops roots- and my backbone was brocken before i reach the fight line

You run. It doesn't matter if they're "sleepy" when they get there. Do you rather have them rout or be sleepy?

I watched your replay and the mortars didnt kill that many of your units. And in the half way to the enemy most of your units were walking, why (that gives morts more shots for chances to hit your units)? Oooh and you shouldnt rush calv head on like that, they will get blown to pieces by morts and enemy inf, send them in last behind your lines of inf. Im only speaking on experience that has worked for me.

A tip is to micro your calv, when morts fire at them hit backspace to halt them then make them run to the left or right, not walk but run, Turning around 180 degrees takes too long and you loose ground. I guess its like American football and you dont want your calv to get tackled >.<

    Thx for watching docbroc

my heart fells down when i loosed my 3 batts cav in the first minutes

then my general with a lucky hit

and i walk- because i wanted my units strong in the fight- not tired. but the mortars was so incredible effective

but fine tips! i will recognize them

You can safely run anywhere without worrying, as long as you aren't running up a big hill for a long time.

This They also get tired from fighting. Against morts, id rather have tired soliders than dead or routed soldiers =D

Ooooh USUALLY mort spammers use lots of light inf which are terrible in melee, so with your line inf, you can lock them into melee and they will get slaughtered. and they cant retreat cause the morts are in the way (they will jsut slow them down from getting in their way) and your enemy wont when to loose his backbone, the morts. To sum it all up, against morts you have to rush fast, grab them by the belt and kick their ass
