where does ETW select the naval Ensigns?

i would like to change some Naval ensigns, but i wouldn't like to overwrite the old one. So does anybody know how ETW choose the naval ensign for you ship? the normal flags are in the faction table, but there must be a connection to the naval flags, as they are stored in a completly different folder. I would like to be able to change this path for some factions.

I do not know personally, but you could ask a couple of the dudes that have successfully made flag mods including naval ensigns. They of course will know. One is Trasibulos, his thread is here. Spanky is another one, and his thread is here. Hope that helps, bro.

Well you can change the nations flags, but as for different flags for navy and land, I have not found a way.

I know where to find the naval ensigns, but i would like to find the connection between texture and model. the general implantation i found in the rigging-xml-files, but how does ETW choose which of the Ensign dds it uses?
