    "Terrae Expugnandae Extreme Mod (TEX)"


    Terrae Expugnandae Extreme Mod Enhances Graphics as well as Gameplay of Vanilla RTW. Mainly coded for ALX engine which uses proven and tested best AI performance, challenging battles, beautifully textured battlefield, units, and environment. Featuring the works of myself and Various Talented Artists here on TWCenter.net. Quality and stability is my top priority in developing this modification. A modification that you can play repeatedly with different results everytime. This was not intended to be a major modification. It was however, created mainly for fun, satisfying and unforgettable gaming experiences. So without further ado, I present to you "Terrae Expugnandae Extreme Mod".


    Features:
    *Superior Artificial Intelligence compared to vanilla, missions are now more realistic, more difficult and blitzkrieg tactics will not work
    *Over 400+ new unit textures and models
    *New and Beautifully textured battlefield environments to fight and die on
    *Very Huge Campaign map with excellent quality textures
    *12 turns per year
    *Projectiles stay longer which add more realism in battles
    *New Horse models by pinarius
    *New hoplite animations the older animations have been slightly modified
    *More suprises awaits you...

    INSTALLATION:
    1) extract TERRAE EXPUGNANDAE EXTREME MOD ver.2.0 with winrar
    2) extract this modification locating the path to your C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\
    3) this is completely mod-foldered so you can still play with the vanilla RTW/BI/ALX and other modifications that are also mod-foldered with the right shortcuts as long as no core files have been overwritten.
    4) create a new shortcut with your RTW.exe or Alex.exe and on the properties target line put this command:
    for example:

    RTW.exe = "C:\Program Files\Creative Assembly\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" -mod:tex -show_err -nm
    Alex.exe = "C:\Program Files\Creative Assembly\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-ALX.exe" -mod:tex -show_err -nm - noalexander


    COMPATIBILTY:
    This modification is for RTW 1.5/RTW-ALX 1.9. It will not correctly work with 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 or 1.3. versions, it must be updated with the latest patch.
    This modification needs a vanilla version of Rome Total War installed or vanilla Alexander expansion installed. You can play other mod-foldered modifications with it. Best Played VH/VH on Huge Setting.

    Agh I think your bug was the Traits,you deleted several Roman type traits,but changing to old traits seems to work,Mod working..can you check???

    im happy to announce that Terrae Expugnandae Extreme mod is now ctd free and bugless ill be uploading it soon with lots of new features

    its now stand alone with lots of new textures and graphics stuff, improved gameplay and best of all no bugs

    i made everything from scratch so now it is a stand-alone modification

    -Extracts my mod
    -copying folder in RTW
    -shortcut drag to your desktop
    -displays a message, problem with shortcut

    ok just create new shortcut dont use mine do you have Alx.exe you can even use RTW.exe one? make a new shortuct for that then put this after the target line -mod:my_mod -show_err -nm then you will be able to play the mod

    Fresh rome to 1.5, alexander, my_mod in root folder c:\program files\rome total war ... so ... started dvx ... i have brutii, scipii , and the old rome unit cards, so is this right ?

    Same here get the TE splash screen but vanilla RTW. Re-installed but now can't play imperial campaign, just says select another item Don't have to have original TE installed do you? my path is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-ALX.exe" -mod:my_mod -show_err -nm -noalexander (windows 7 64)

    the unit cards will come as a patch soon since all units have realistic, different and better textures than the vanilla one, yes that is right, brutii and scipii will also be changed to baktria and epirus soon when i have time for that
