the way i do it, i dont use fraps. just set anti-aliasing to off then just press the print screen button and that should take a picture. if you want to see your pictures go to the tgas folder in your rome total war or RS folder. hope this helps

Fraps (www.fraps.com) or Howie's Screen Capture etc are usually popular.
For a long time I took a screen shot using CTRL+ALT+PrintScreen which takes a shot of the 'active' window and then ALT+TAB into PaintShopPro and paste the image in there. I like to see what shots I am taking as one frame later the shot is lost. With Vista I found that this didn't work anymore . However, if you play in 'windowed mode' using the -ne switch then it works perfectly.
