Poll: If your government shut off your nations internet access how would you react?

They tell you that this is being done for your safety and promise that in 12 months they will review their decison and may restore the internet in due course.

How would you react?

I would simply attack the one that made the decision and gather a lot of people to attack him/her with me (this would not be hard at all, and very likely the police would only put up superficial resistance to such attacks).

I would then protest after this, until it was revoked. Believe me, Sweden might seem like a peaceful country but we are the Korea of Europe. Cutting off our Internet would be like a president trying to introduce communism to USA. We are a haven of internet piracy, gaming and the internet in general, something like this would turn everyone into frenzied demons. But it is completely impossible that this would happen, many ministers in our government and other ''closet cases'' such as the police actually support piracy. This is why we secretly laugh at MPAA, they can't touch us and our entire country supports what we're doing.

This. Regardless of the reasons the state uses, removing my ability to contact my friends is inexcusable.
I can barely last a week with no internet; a year is out of the question.

If I can't drive, don't have half of their phone numbers, and don't remember where have of them live...yeah, internet is the only way I have to get in regular, daily contact with them.

Imagine the world without internet....it would just go along normally as it did for a few thousand years until about 20 years ago. Mind you I'd have to buy 'Readers Wives' if I wanted to see someone else's missus instead of just watching Xtube.
