It's good. It should run it at Ultra.

The only thing I would change is the CPU. It's pretty outdated.

    lol, you're joking right?

You'll be able to run the game near it's max settings, if not, at it's max settings with the set-up as it is now. That said, the GTX 260 is a nice upgrade from the GTS 250. The cheapest is one on NewEgg is $40 more expensive than the GTS 250 you're looking at now. So if you're willing, then why not(although, I would spend that $40 and get a better CPU)?

How much of a difference would that make? I ask from ignorance not contention but I am not to worried about turning the graphics all the way up I would just prefer a nice stable long lasting performance out of the above parts.

Actually, the GTX260 and GTS250 are the best cards in their price range, so it really depends on your budget. You should do fine with a 250 though.

GTX 260 is much better if it can be afforded.

I agree... GTX260 if you can afford it.

I guess the processor is really moot because cost wise it's actually a great deal. Won't find a mobo/cpu combo in the Intel section for that price.

As far as the floppy deal... I continue to buy my IT Department workstations with floppies as they are still EXTREMELY useful. All my servers... floppy drives. Raid drivers, Bios and firmware updates, memtest, etc... yes they can pretty much all be run from a USB stick, but you have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get it working. You'll never go wrong with a floppy drive and it's really simple to make bootable.

This is what the industry has been reduced to. Artistry and pride in one's craft is an afterthought.

You'll be able to run ETW just fine. Take note that on Ultra settings you'll get an average of 20-30 FPS on the campaign map, 25-35 FPS on the battle map with spikes during game play.
