Changing unit upgrades

Is it possible to use a 1 mesh for 2 units? I want to give saxon peasant spearmen and theigns a single armour upgrade. Can this be done in battle_models by using town militia and armored sergeants as upgrade path? I know I could just replace the respective saxon units with town militia and armoured sergeants, but I want them to have shieldwall, and don't want to change the others from schiltrom.

Oh and, have tried searching for solution in forums already, but seem to be going round in circles!

It can be done in EDU as long as the models are set up for the faction in question, just reference whatever model you like as the next upgrade:

armour_ug_levels 3, 5, 5, 5
armour_ug_models Theigns, Order_Spearmen, Order_Spearmen, Order_Spearmen

If you already know how to set them up a unit for a different faction in battle_models then that's all you need.

Ah yes all makes sense now! Forgot to change EDU! Thats why it kept crashing! Cheers for that!
