I hope so. It is really annoying that after clicking on a fleet it takes nearly one minute before the fleet activates, sometimes even a longer lag. I am having a kick-ass campaing with the Brits and every second time I click on a fleet I get a CTD, which means I have to constantly save the game.
It's really frustrating and if a patch doesn't fix it soon I'll shelf the game and continue on Medieval 2 Stainless Steel mod.
i've gotten the really long lag only clicking on one fleet of mine after restarting a saved game after reinstalling the game on a new computer, it would happen (and did) until i moved the fleet.
it was a large-ish fleet in the english channel pirating french supply/trade lines that was also in the intercept range of a french trade port with a large but much weaker fleet.
i think it was the combination of sphere of influence/intercept range and pirating that really did it. never crashed on me though.
the map lag is one of the biggest game breakers for me.
