    как швед в Полтаве

    Would like the phrase in russian but latin letters, if anyone can help me?

    The phrase is как швед под Полтавой

    Kak Schvyed pod Poltavoi --- Like a Swede outside Poltava used with a verb to denote disaster...i.e. To die like a Swede outside Poltava. Poltava being the battle obviously.
