Problem or Intentional
Hi everyone
I'm new here but I was wondering if anyone could help me answer this question
Why can I not capture some cities?
I play as the British and I sent an army from Moose Factory (America) over to the very top-left corner where the Huron Confederacy had their last city. I sieged the city for 2 turns and won the ensuing battle. Afterwards though, my army lifted the siege and the city was still in the hands of the Huron Confederacy?
The same thing happened when I attempted to capture one of the Pirates cities (above the windward islands - can't remember the name). It's really annoying because after losing half my army, I check the enemy army panel after I attack the city again and it shows a city full of peasents (which weren't there before) with full numbers.
Can anyone help?

This is a known "issue". If you let anyone get away alive from the besieged army, then the firelock citizenry will respawn with full numbers. This is solved if you never siege or just immediately attack the remaining army (and win) after you win a sally battle.

Its a known issue and hopefully will be resolved with the first major gameplay patch which is pending pretty damn soon.
