    Default BETA Feedback

I thought I might post a feedback after testing the Beta....

    1) Graphics, especcially unit-graphics are awsome - well done

    2) for some reason I can't save my settings (e.g. unit size)

    3) Vindobona was modern Vienna, in Austria NOT in France.

    4) Campaign gameplay - too early to say. I graphics are great but the map is so vast one gets lost easily. As the final version will have a map covering a lager scale I hope that will improve. And the cities are all extremely underdeveloped (western rome)

    hope that helps....

    To point 1: heavily agreed
    What id like to add:

so far i didnt recognize any bugs, except the thing with taraconensis (which suddenly and for no apparent reason belonged to my faction).
Still, though i play on H/H (as recommended), the AI behaves fairly passively.
I had just one siege by the vandals (after almost 20 turns)
As WRE, the economy is easily improved and you quickly have enough money to start rebuilding your military. This wouldnt be a balancing problem if the barbarians actually attack on a large scale from begin on, but since they dont (at least in the two campaigns i tested), it is too easy to get wealthy.

But the atmosphere is yet very captivating and this mod gonna rock after completion

After restarting my campaign and upping to VH/VH seems to have done the trick. I nearly drooled on myself on H/H it was soo boring. The Vandals showed up this time precisely where they were supposed to in a near full stack accross Gibraltar and laid siege to the first North African city. Too early to say it's great for me, but it's looking pretty darn good for Beta. Thanks guys!

    We thank you Antonius,

1, Eye candy will drastically get better too
2, after changing settings such as unit size you may have to in the option settings click a box or something saying that you really want to do that
3 Thanks changed to Vienne: think thats its old spelling?
4 Map will improve as it was for just play ability..cities will be more developed and historically more accurate with the next Beta patch

    We thanks Floit,
-We do have a relgious bug that spews out matrix like numbers

    - Cities may very well rebel back to the Romans..they are still historically Roman in that they were administrated by Romans and over seen by the Germanic faction

-We want a very aggressive Vandal faction at the start in Africa..something we would like displayedin the next patch.

    I recently played the Suebes...
How do i recrute adalinge or the other swordsmen (i dont remember their name)
Another question: Did you disable the console? im not able to open it but i would like to turn off fog of war to see how the ai is doing.

What i can say is that the goths are really aggressive and attack both me and the WRE.

    Thanks,

-Germanic levy can be built if you contruct a wall.
-barb_council_chambers: Hundredmen's Hall: The home of a truly mighty leader draws to it all the skilled artisans and traders needed to make a successful town in its shadow. This hold has a hall for the warriors attached to it. It is the home of true heroes dedicated to defending their lord and their people.... You can recruit Suebian Infantry and Cavalry here

    Well for the console:
It is now on the letter "ö" and no longer on "^" as usual (at least on my keyboard...)

But though i have built several hundredmenhalls and upgraded them to kingshalls, im still not able to recruit adalinge... i also have an armourer in these settlements...

but as i was able to turn off fow i can say that the goths are deeply penetrating roman territories

Yeah, I don't understand that either. The Vandals came at me hard the first turn but laid siege way too long. The Goths sat idle, and finally I attacked their fleet hoping they would send a couple of their stacks roaming around at me...Well they still sit idle. However, it is nice to see spatha's and gladius' slicing through flesh.

    Hi
How do you stop the traitors from taking my roman stack?
My economy is falling apart, the date is 475a.d.
Plus rebellion is taking my cities, looks like the real thing!
