Special forces edition issue

I've been playing the Ottomon's for a LOOONG time and been wondering where my organ gun is, turns out I must have started this campaign before entering the spec forces code. Now any new campaigns I start get the new units, but this particular saved campaign doesn't. Is there any way to have them be unlocked? Seems like there must be a .doc file I can adjust to fix it, anyone know of any solutions?

Also- I heard that there is a multipalyer long campaign but I don't see it in the game options- didn't think there was but if anyone has any more info that would be great.

sorry dude, there isn't actually an answer that will help you with your problem... ive also had this problem with the English Empire and i almost messed up my game doing so. oh yeh, and there isn't actually a long campaign mode for multiplayer as it would be too long and you can't save a multioplayer game.

I assumed that was going to be the deal- looks like I will have to start over as a new campaign. The ottomon empire was a comeback like no other, banished from the sea for 70 years- we came back from baghdad with an army large enough to crush russia and poland, built on the spoils of a dead persian empire.

I would love to see them implement a long multiplayer campaign - Ive played some RTS's that actually will save multipalyer games and start you where you left off. Obviously you would have to be playing with a good friend- I see it working like an email chess game- notifications go out when it yours turn and you can pick up with whoever's turn it was last.

Unfourtently its only a dream... maybe some hip modders will implement it.

Actually, I had already started a campaign without even entering in the SFE code. I ended up getting my Death's Head Hussars as Prussia, not a problem? I guess it depends on if you've already built your armories up past the point where you're supposed to get them...? At the time I hadn't upgraded my political building yet... so that could be why mine worked.

Can you confirm that the edition you bought came with the additional units of the Death's Head Hussars. They are a special pre-order version only - I got the amazons from amazon.co.uk.....

Can you also confirm which settlement you recruited them from?

They are recruited from Brandenburg (with the highest government, not army, building) if you pre-ordered from Game.co.uk.

Thanks for that. SirVulf posted that he had access to the units without entering the SFE code - I presume that needs to be done to have access to the unit.

I realize that there is a separate activation code for the additional unit.

I wished I had got the Hussars instead of the Amazons.....

Aah, I missed the part about not entering the code, weird!

I bought two copies, one from Game for the Hussars and then bought my SF edition from Best Buy, which came with the USS Constitution, even though it was not pre-ordered.

Maybe contact Game.co.uk and see if they have any Hussar editions left?

Yarp ditto to all the above. Basically I was already in a campaign but had not built the building required for the Death's Head Hussars, then applied the code, then built the building and was able to use the DHH...
