Need Help!!!

I,M playing romans on H/H settings an into 20-30turns of my campiagn than suddenly i CTD...any advice?

ex: twice i campiagn as romans on H/H then at year 478auc and 487auc after AI make its move than whole sceen jus CTD. i oso cant save game , i click on save than than it CTD too. jus wondering wats wrong??? nv had tis prob B4 when i play on M/M. i use oso to increase AI armies at cities. izzit bcos game cant tak sooo much details or armies

Have you set 'AUTO_SAVE:FALSE' in preferrences.txt? This sounds to me like you have left autosave on. 'Preferrences.txt' is in '(your RTW Folder)\preferrences'. If there is NOT a line that says 'auto_save: (true or false), add one at the bottom that reads 'AUTO_SAVE:FALSE'.

can't you type with the proper spelling and punctuation? and regarding your question on the Auxilia - some will have spears, and others will have swords.

I still have autosave on tbh and it doesn't cause a problem >_<.

If you are using a 'saved' game that 'auto_save' created, your campaign will be corrupted. Auto_save, BTW is bugged...this has been known for AGES, and the installation instructions for RS1.5 instruct you to turn it off by setting it to FALSE. Do not use auto-save, and do not use 'quick-save' (it's the same thing). YOU WILL GET CTD's.
