Unlocking the extra maps in single player

Hi,

While I was editing various files for the pirate mod today, I came across a mention of extra single player maps, such as texas and the arctic sea apparently. Are they unlocked after completing the main campaign? Because if so, I won't be able to as my game crashes each time between 176-1790 and won't reload (which I belive is a common bug). If someone could confirm my suspicions, or post a file to get round it, that wouls be very handy, as i', after a few more maps for custom battles.

No, completing the main campaign will not unlock any extra maps.
