Re: Everything you ever wanted to know about banners!
I've been having nothing but trouble trying to add Ireland as a faction; but I have progressed to the point where I'm now dealing with the banners.
I have the ones that appear at the top of the faction selection screen; but the button one in game (for selecting faction info/pope info, etc.) just shows as a castle and the symbol that goes on the banners are both eluding me. I tried simply using symbols9.tga from the British isles campaign; but it's not working (for the banners); as all I get are either the slave symbol or a grey slate.
I tried using the converter to switch the *.tgs.dds files to *.tgs; but that just caused the game to fail loading (due to an out of memory error).
So, since I now have Photoshop and the DDS plug-in: I'd really appreciate if someone can tell me what setting to use in order to edit the symbol#.tga files.
I noticed that someone asked and was pm'd that information; but that doesn't help me just now.
I also read somewhere that the files don't need to be in DDS format; so I'd like some clarification on that as well.
Thanks,
SK

I used your script but I must have done something wrong because the color is not coming as I expected .

Re: Everything you ever wanted to know about banners!
I have successfully gotten a strat map banner into the game, but my other banners are not showing up, nor the banner on the faction selection. I suspect it has something to do with the file extensions. Also, what determines which banner appears over a fort?

hi, can someone please advise me? I would like to add titles to the region, so that after the occupation of the province, the general receives the title of province... I don't know where exactly and what subor needs to be adjusted?
