Disable Intro movies? Config.ini file?

I have two questions that I cant find the anwser too after using the search and google.

How do I disable the intro movies when you start the game (just skip right to the menu)?

How do I disable the animating background in the Menu?

Is there a config.ini file anywhere like there used to be in MT2?

Haha - no seriously. There is no need for it to first load all those movies if youve seen them once and click them away.

Please, anyone?

you can use the pack file manager on the movies.pack and rename the files to not be .bik files... then save the pack... remembering to back-up your old pack file.
