    Default SO SLOW

Is there anyway to make the turns faster, it takes about 2 mins for every turn, thus making the game so sloooow, but for some reason some factions have fast turns and some slow, like my campaign as Martha and France have fast turns but as GB and Prussia and Ottomans its really slow.

The only way to speed it up a bit so far is to make sure you've toggled Fast Unit Speed by pressing the spacebar whilst looking at the campaign map. You will see that your own pieces move across the map faster. People have been saying this (as well as toggling "show enemy moves" off) will speed things up slightly.

Otherwise we're all waiting for the same patch to speed it up.

Yeh that only makes it a little fast, but I guess I should wait till the next patch and hope it makes the turns faster

I have this problem too. Each end-turn takes 1-2 minutes at year 1745.

Thats because the map is 3x the size of M2TW/Rome, and there are 50 factions. Some M2 (and I assume Rome) mods were pretty slow with much less factions than that.

Great Answer, I didn't realize that. Anyway, one could argue that had the game been properly optimized (to support multiple cores) it could have been a lot faster.

Try eliminating some of the minor factions. Tends to speed things up for me .

Overall though, my turns are annoyingly long but nowhere near 2 minutes. Perhaps it has something to do with specs?

QFT. I go after the one-province nations specifically for this reason.

Still it is a bit retarded...

Bavarian general: "Halt, what are you doing on our lands? I though we were allies!"

Dutch general: "I don't care. We are here to kill you all!"

Bavarian general: "B-but why?... We've been good friends for ages!"

Dutch general: "Soz. Need to speed up game"

    Bavarian general: "What?! ..."

*Dutch guy grabs his sword and kills Bavarian"
E:TW's natives have developed a new "Ballistic Automatic Detection And Seeking System" to utterly annihilate any European that sets foot on their soil... That's BADASS for short!
