Character adjusting
Figure this is a good spot, sense it's sorta modding. Anywhere, here's the situation. I want a nice, young general with only afew traits at most that will be my main general through the game starting with my first one. Problem is, every single time I create a general I got either old (or older then I prefer) with no traits, old with lots of traits, or young (as in young enough for me to be happy) with lots of traits.
So... sense we have no cheat codes like in M2, there's no way for me to add/remove traits. So I'm wondering if anyone knows away to make a change to the save file or something that will allow me to change the generals make up and make him young with little or no traits.

Re: Character adjusting
Use the esf editor. Open your savegame, go to world and faction list, your faction will be first, there you will have a list of characters, traits you can remove one by one (right click, delete), birth date is the first date you see, the second one is death date, which is 0 while the character is still alive.

Oh nice, took me a little while to understand what I'm seeing but it's making sense... you can even change the picture! This is pretty cool, thanks for pointing me in this direction. It's to bad the family isn't set up the same as the characters. Could be interesting to play with.

Re: Character adjusting
By chance, does anyone know where the traits are, how they appear in game, their text, and their abilities? It's weird how the file ancillary triggers is right there and easily viewed/edited via textpad
