Building order

I just wondered that when the town grows and new government building appears, do you build government building straight away or build the other buildings first and last the government building?

i build the government building first.

huh. I always build every single building for a particular "city stage" before upgrading the city. I would be kinda curious to know how other people do it. (Maybe I am the only one...)

hmmm. i tend to demolish all the buildings that i can, that i can't build over (like temples, for example), and them bring them up to their previous level, before building up my military recruitment buildings to allow me to retrain the units that form the army that invaded. then roads, health buidlings (baths, aquaducts etc.) trade buildings, ports, farms, academy-type buildings, then anything else. then i level up the city when I can - thing is, i nearly always exterminate a city when I take it, simply to make it easier to manage in the earlier stages of occupation.

As Rory, I tend to demolish buildings that I can't build over. This is my order of building:
- Gouvernor buildings
- Farm system
- Road system
- Sewer system
- Walls

I usually build other buildings first before government building. When you build the government building first does the unbuild buildings build by itself? In which way it would be realistic, to build other buildings first or build the government building sraight away?

I do:
1.Government
2.Arena or racetrack (for quick order)
3.Road
4.Temple of Jupiter (good order and gives good follower)
5.Health
6.Suburbs,villages and that stuff.
