    Default Are you serious?

I knew I shouldn't take rank in this game too seriously.

But I joined a 2v2 and almost immediately after starting my partner left/dropped and I immediately got "crushing defeat".

Not only did I lose points and my record looks worse, but why was I punished for having a partner who quit right off the bat?

Makes me wonder if people might actually set up 2nd accounts to leech points off people in 2v2, 4v4, etc...

Im afraid this is a good reason why u should not join team games with anybody that u dont know...

And u cant create a second account so dnt worry, there are no smurfers

Yeah, it's stupid that you're not even given a chance to try and beat them.

Always do ranked 2v2 with a teammate. Always.

So you know who to nerd rage at if they quit early.

As stymie said or just stick to 1v1 if you want to do rated.

I just did another 2v2, amazingly close game.

We had mortars so it was damn close, but my ally has 2 units in reserve and managed to get them into the mortar's dead zone.

The enemy had nothing left and he'd been hill camping and trash talking the whole game. So when his mortars starts to rout and unplugged his connection and left us with nothing.

Bah Multiplayer is such a joke. I remember why I stopped playing it in Rome.

This has happened to me a few times against players with 7+ stars, should I be suprised?

Good way to keep a clean score card but a really *y way to play.

Simply don't play against a host who has 9 stars, they're either exceptionally good or lousy cheating quitters.

you can always play unranked, it helps a bit, and also there are plenty of people here who are good players and would be glad to play with you.

I've had similar experience all too often. Also annoying is the fact youn lose so many points when the game was so close. I lost over 900 points in a battle which wa down to the last 10 men each. seemed unfair to lose so much when it was SO close.

I lost 3k points in a battle where there was only one unit left standing. That kinda sucked

You can't expect the game to calculate "how close" it really was. It really can't do that fairly.

Dunno, not that hard to get 9 stars.

Took me about 2 weeks too.. I played about 4-5 games per day. 2 weeks isn't that long and I never said it wouldn't take "some" time.. I said it's quite easy. Which it is.

I gave up to reach 9 stars after i realised that i lose more points when i make ranked battles than win altough i win the most Its always the same, i reach 6 stars and then i lose so much points that im down to 5 stars. Thanks to leavers and connection loosers.

I doubt that. I have never got a loss when someone leaves or disconnects.. I always get a win.

Yeah. But I don't, for obvious reasons, play ranked 2v2's. In fact.. I haven't played a 2v2 in about 100 games.

I actually just tried my first ranked 2v2 with an unknown teammate, i felt like giving it a new shot. I ended up fighting two enemy players while my teammate staked the ground around him and then went for a teabreak
