my game keeps crashing to desktop=(

when i woke up this morning i wanted to play abit on my campaign

as i presst "continue campaign" its starts to load and a secon later i get
"Empier : Total War stop working" and it start to find a solution but do's not find one...

help plz

just found out that non of my loadings work

i can start a new game but not load a former games

actually its almost the same for me once i open mediealII total war,i clik on load campaign ,then it crashed and bring me back to my desktop

Attention all. Grand campaign is not recommended until after the next patch. I just lost campaign # 2 this morning. And I am f--ing pissed about it.

Yes. As the Prussians I cannot defeat my mortal enemies, Spain, without a CTD and I have a few "do not select" fleets and stacks hanging around incurring costs. I have to agree, after giving this game a decent review on Amazon, I now realise I cannot complete any long campaign - have tried four times now. When I select "continue campaign", it starts to load and then CTD, everytime. I start a new game, and half way through, after investing my (not very much) quality time with the game, it gives up on me.

I don't care what others say, if I designed my products like this, I would be unemployed right now, and justifiably so!

I have to conclude that I bought a game that is unfit for purpose - I like the game a lot, but we really should not have to wait for a patch after spending 60 Euro on a game - no matter how much 'spin' the developer's spout to appease the younger, more forgiving gamers - but for us who design and develop products for a living, we know that if it were any other industry that released products that did not work as advertised/intended, we'd be in big trouble.

This is the first time ever I have had to stop playing a game and wait for a patch to fix it, because it is simply unplayable - such a shame.

Was enjoying a United Provinces campaign - ran into the "corrupting save game file" major bug.
It corrupted all 8 saves. (saved using s1 - s9, rather than using full campaign name save)

Sounds like what you have encountered.

Loads my abandoned 136 Prussian Campaign (lack of challenge) no problem though.

Fingers crossed they fix this in patch but,,,
