I sent some spare units snooping around Emporion. I didn't want to start war with the Independent Greeks again, because they were allied with Germania, and I wanted to keep my alliance with Germania too (for the time being). I did manage to assassinate one of the leaders of Emporion, though. Then, a few turns later, this man emerges from the city. I fear for the safety of Rome, for can such a man be struck down? He is all powerful!

I must have already killed him off in Greece, as Macedon sent all its armies abroad to the north, and then I attacked the completely undefended Peloponessus. Perhaps he's hiding up in the Colossus somewhere?

Mt Doom is Mount Etna for sure. The only Vulcano errupting early in the game
