Would this WORK???

Hi guys,i have just installed a mod that allows you yo play as the mongols or triumdums,so i installed it on my XP computer and unpacked the game after (becoz it is a habbit i need to edit mistakes). Now everything works fine but my XP computer is *. Now i have a great Vista computer BUT i know you have to do so many things to unpack the file,turn off this..that TO MANY THINGS. So would it work if i put all my unpacked data files on giga byte sticks and just copy and pasted it into the data folder,and put the io file first stuff in???? (i already deleted the geo stuff that causes the game to crash)

Thanks so much i have been waiting for an answer coz i am afriad to do it, o my XP has 1.3 version but my vista alone has 1.0 would that effect it, but if i were to copy then entire MT2W folder would that cover it also.
(i really dont think version matter but....???)

Yeah the version might make a difference. I would patch the Vista version first, tehre are some registry entries that go along with the patch.

I would like to but my kingdoms wont work with vista.idk but i will try just the !data folder!?
