I like this idea
Adorno: Cavalry / one-handed sword / bow
or more precisely:
(heavy) horseman / one handed 'sword' (well, sabre/scimitar) / shield / bow
"How shall humankind ever find peace if the soul remains conscious in the sky and the shadow in the Underworld? The combination of sweet bait and naivety completely destroyes Nature's best gift: death, and doubles the agony of the dying with worries of a future!" - Pliny the Elder
I have plenty of different characters and I am able to fill many roles, such as horse archer, axeman, knight with sword, light cavalry with lance, knight with lance... you name it.
My favourite however is my Nord berserker, armed with a two-handed weapon. He looks most awesome with an axe, however I think I am currently using a voulge.
So: Dismounted/Bow/two-handed weapon/obviously unshielded
Edit: I think there are standards in Hegemony 468 b.c (or something like that)
"At a football club, there's a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don't come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques."Have you ever seen Dirty Harry Guns and money are best diplomacy

"Not badly, considering I was seated between Jesus Christ and Napoleon"
David Lloyd George was pleased with his performance at Versailles.
I usually start out as heavy-cavalry, but after riding behind the infantry line I always end up dismounting and slashing up at least 30 foes with a polearm in an gruesome killingspree.
Its getting kinda boring though, maybe I should revert to some more lighter gear and sophisticated tactics. Saber and javelins sounded nice.
I prefer a medium-strength horse (a hunter, usually), light armour / sabre or scimitar / light shield / and javelins. Love my javelins![]()
Horse archer.
Is there any other choice?
Cavalry/Sword/Twohander/Sword and Shield
All depends how i'm feeling lol
I split my time between Calvary/Two-Handed and Foot/ Two-Handed.
Cavalry/Two-Handed Axe/Battlespear or lance/multiple javelins.

Antiochos VII...last true scion of the Seleucid dynasty...rest in peace, son of Hellas.
I've returned--please forgive my long absence.
(light/medium) Cavalry/One-Handed Sword/Spear or Lance/Shield/Some Javelins & medium to semi-heavy amour.
Overall, think of a Norman Knight at Hastings.(Or a mounted Anglo-Saxon noble if your still bitter about that.)

Hmm, my play-style varies depending on what mod I play. But I usually go around playing:
Cavalry / Lance / Javelins / Bow
I like fighting with two handed weapons, but i will also never use calvary for I fight right beside my Nordic brothers. I lead my men into battle for I am not a coward.
Calvalry / Axe / Bow / Lance

Most of my characters are either heavy cav with 2-handed weapns and LOTS of armour, or berserker types on foot with giant axes and much less armour. Generally i like big weapons![]()
