    1- Content of Ottoman Empire Realism v1.3

    • v1.3 does work with 1.6 ETW patch and last DLC Elite Units of East
    • 4 new units for Babur (Mughal) Empire
    • 4 new units for Pers
    • 2 new units for Ottoman Empire (we maded total new units 15+)
    • Dagestan army type is same Crimean Khanate (added some different some units)
    • Units stats balanced.
    • Bugs and problems are fixed.

    2- Installion of Ottoman Empire Realism MOD v1.3

    Dont need older version, pls just downloand v1.3

    For XP:

    1. Run Ottoman Realism Mod v1.3 exe which you downloaded
    2. Install it on your desktop
    3. Enter the Ottoman Realism Folder and copy my_log.pack and ottoman_realizm_twt_mod.pack and paste into C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data
    4. Now copy Ottoman_mod and paste into C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data\campaigns\
    5. Lastly, copy user.empire.script.txt from the folder that you downloaded and paste it into C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR NAME OF COMPUTER\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts
    PS: from settings, you should choose show hidden folders to find some exact locations in your computer

    For Vista and 7:

    1. The only difference from the installion for XP is the last part. You should paste user.empire_script.txt into C:\Users\Computer name\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts

    1- Content of Ottoman Empire Realism v1.2.1
    • Almost 15 brand new units (Anatolian Sipahis, Bosniaks, Albanian militias, Kapikulus, Azaps, Akincis, Nizam-I Cedit Elite infantries, Usta Janissaries, Baghdad Cavalries, Cairo Janissaries, Tufekchis, Pancernis for Poland,....) With these units, Ottoman Empire finally finds itself.
    • Units that we have made in v1.0, v1.1 and v1.2 are renewed
    • Info cards and selection cards were made professionally and Infos were written for each soldiers.
    • Skin color of soldiers of Ottoman Empire are changed both on campaign map and on battlefield
    • Balance is done carefully(It is done according to EUOTW so if elite units of Ottomans are strong it is because of that)
    • Animation problems are solved (Bashibozuks have smooth pistol animation now, etc)
    • Safavids, Mughals and Crimean Khanate are playable now on grand campaign map without fog bug and with purposes
    • Totally new skin pack is given to Austria and Prussia
    • Some soldiers are changed on campaign map and Ottoman Empire has more powerful soldiers on Balkan at the beginning from now on.
    • Ratio of religion for some cities are changed and corrected
    • Zooming (or phasing) problem of units are solved for Ottoman Empire. Now when you zoom in and out, models do not change.
    • Almost all units of Ottomans and some eastern factions have unused second hats
    • Standard Horse bearer mod is added
    • Blood mod is added
    • Logo of main menu is changed
    • Some technological things are corrected (Now you can’t have nizam light infantry without light infantry doctorine, etc.)
    • New eastern cannons and eastern rocket are added to Ottoman Empire.

    Purpose

    Make The Ottoman Empire more playable and realistic.

    Changes and Improvements

    3 new units, which are Akincis, Anatolian Sipahis and Baghad Cavalries, are added to game.
    General troops have flag bearers (Thanks to SomerandomMinja from TwCenter.net, his Cavalry Standard Bearers "Mini-Mod" v2.0 is used and arranged peculiar to us)
    Royal Family Tree (Thanks to GeorgiaPeanuts from TwCenter.net)
    Star is removed from our war banner.
    Mistakes and bugs are corrected that occured in version 1.0
    According to realistic sources, Ottoman horse archers, Akincis, have better reloading skills than other archers. (Late period, Ottoman archers are able to shoot minimum 6 arrows per minute)
    Instead of doing our all units red, we have decided to make diversity according to sources and for all roster, individual uniforms are made.
    Statistical issues are organized again.

    Music

    Musics from Valley of the Wolves (Turkish TV serial) are added to the game for Ottoman Empire. Additionally, Turkish folk musics and musics of Murat Salim Tokaη (master of Turkish folk music) are used in the game.

    Installation

    • Back up files which are needed to change.
    • Open Ottoman Realism 1.1.exe file. Extract my_loc.pack and ottoman_realizm_twt_mod.pack to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data.
    • Extract startpos.esf to Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data\campaigns\main and change the file with original one.
    • Extract user.empire_script.txt to C:\Documents and Settings\NAME OF YOUR COMPUTER\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts
    Note: If you can't find the folder to extract last file, please make all folders visible from tools - folder settings.

    Multiplayer issue

    Warning! It is problem for all mods! If you want to play multiplayer, the file ‘’ user.empire_script.txt’’ that we extract to C:\Documents and Settings\NAME OF YOUR COMPUTER\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\script must be deleted. Otherwise it is impossible to play multiplayer with other people without mod.

    Plans for Future Versions

    • Known and received bugs will be corrected.
    • Working on other factions beside Ottomans.
    • Adding Ottoman Mehteran band to the game, and changing some the music.
    Changing the layout of the menu and the video showing at the background.
    • Adding the Turkish language.
    • When it will be possible, making 3D works on models.
    • Changing the Ottoman sultan,imams and other agent pictures and description
    • Adding more cities to the regions
    • Making locked factions unlocked and more playable
    • Adding a special quest system to Ottoman Empire like Spain, France, etc.
    • Adding more Ottoman navy units and models if we find professional support.
    • Adding individual videos for Ottomans instead of using same videos with all eastern factions if we find professional support.
    • After Ottoman Empire improved, working on Mughal Empire and reflecting their real culture.


    And we also want to form a group, which consists of people who like Ottoman history and know how to mod a game. If you want to join in, please PM me. This group will work for our mod after our section opens in "Total War Hosted Modifications" section.

    Ottoman realism mod:
    Added more realism to the Ottoman faction and make them more playable.

    Changes:
    · The skins of the Turkish units are now lighter instead of arab,Indian skins.
    · 5 new units: Mamluke cavalry, Sekban janissary grenadiers, Sekban janissaries,
    Cebelό Cavalry, Cairo Janissaries.
    · Deli cavalry men can now get off their horses like European dragoon units.
    · Basibozuk units that used guns is known so we made them have pistols.
    · The uniforms of the Ottoman units have been changed with more realistic colors and now fit in the Empire timeline.
    · The uniforms also have now more realistic Turkish traditional motifs.
    · Unit that were possible in single and multiplayer are now possible in campaign too.
    · The Ottoman unit battle stats have been changed.
    · Some Ottoman units are now able to put spikes, take cover etc.

    How to install:
    · Open the Ottoman realism mod folder that has appeared on your desktop. Copy and paste the my_loc.pack and the ottoman_realizm_twt_mod.pack files to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data
    And paste the last file user.empire_script.txt to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts
    Known bugs:
    · The Sekban grenadiers information window doesn’t always show the logo and unit description can randomly freeze
    · When you click on the Cairo janissaries at the battlefield it let you hear the sound of the city mobs
    · If you want to play multiplayer you have to delete the” user.empire_script.txt “ file from C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts

    · To give more realism to other than the Ottoman faction
    · Add the Ottoman Mehteran band ,change the music
    · Change the layout of the menu and the video showing at the background
    · Adding the Turkish language patch to this mod
    · Improving the 3D models of the Ottoman units
    · Changing the Ottoman sultan,imams and other agent pictures and description
    · Adding more cities
    · Making the later unlocked factions more playable
    · Adding a special quest system like the Spanish,French and British
    · Adding more Ottoman navy units and models with the help of professionals
    · Adding a special video for the Ottomans instead of Ottoman ,Indian mix of a video with the help of Professionals
    · After the Ottomans faction improved, doing the same to the Mughal Empire (Mughal Empire EPIC FAIL, CA shame on you )

    We only changed the stats of Ottoman troops, there aren't any changes on extreme points.

    i found new info for work with different mod

    example: Dartmod's user.empire_script.txt - open - you will see mod darthmod.pack; line - we must add mod ottoman_realizm_twt_mod.pack; code to second line - so we can play more mod in same time.

    I was really hoping for the Ottoman skins ( the Polish as well of someone could make them ).
    But could you make a version without stat changes .I see you explained the installation with other mods but I'm afraid I'd cause a conflict with Imperial Splendour. Your skins look great,

    I agree with Jihada, I would download this mod in a second if it were just the textures, they're brilliant.

    I use darthmod and I assume this would conflict with that?

    Anyway, it looks fantastic, I might just remove darthmod and play this for awhile.
