Need help making greece playable

Trying to make greece playable but i've been having CTDs every time my computer gets to 30% of loading greece in the GC screen. I don't know what I did wrong.

Or
I'm using vista but if anyone has a file of the startpos for greece that could be really helpful and I can look and see what I did wrong.

But Overall PLEASE HELP

Well maybe try downloading this mod:

It has a couple of emergent factions available to play as, so maybe you can just copy the layout and use if for Greece?

I think its about late campaigns are you sure?

im done editing the startpos.esf and scripting.lua files to make greece playable at start of 1700 with region of Greece and then after one turn the region of Morea is handed over automatically to Greece, as it's necessary to "capture" a region (in this case handed in without resulting to war), in order to enable the government tab and fully control the faction. Im now working on creating characters like Kolokotronis of the Greek revolution and Rigas Feraios as gentleman and others.. When I finalise it i would be more than glad to upload the files, if u are kind enough to explain me where to upload them free

P.S. great thanks to GeorgiaPeanuts for his breakthrough on how to unlock emergent factions properly

To get Greece playable as faction this is what you can do it is so simple!

1. open patch.pack file in your data folder
2. look for db\faction_tables\factions
3. look up greece and enable "true" for early/late avaiabilty

I know this works for Custom Battle and there is a thread for campaign play to enable factions but i hear it is unstable!! so use at your own risk!

i believe that's wrong for many reasons (for campaign speaking), and one of them of course is how on earth will greece be playable when it doesn't own any regions etc..? if it was that easy then GeorgiaPeanuts wouldnt bother to make a whole tutorial and research on the matter.

You have not read my post properly, i clearly stated this is for CUSTOM BATTLE only!!!
