Installing SPQR mod

Probably an answer somewhere lol, sorry for the question but I downloaded the SPQR mod, now what? I have the gold edition with BI

Ok I installed it to my RTW but it didn't change anything.

It's all installed and I had the SPQR background and opening, but I go to play a game and it shuts down the game. Also when I go to select imperial campaign it says please select aan item and won't go to faction selection. What do I do?

take a look at the FAQ instalation and troubleshooting thread, everything you need should be in there

if not then let us know and we'll see what we can do to help - also once installed you might want to take a look at the thread in my signature because it helps with alot of the questions people have when new to SPQR

Thanks for pointing me to that, I have the CTD when I try to do a battle. It didn't say anything about my problem with not being able to select the imperial campaign mode.

did you install over a fresh instalation - any other mods, even ones that have been uninstalled can have some unforseen effects

okay silly question perhaps but have you followed the instructions in the FAQ instalation & troubleshooting

if so can you please right click on the SPQR desktop shortcut and post what the "target" and "start in" lines show under properties

What about the prologue condition? Doesnt that cause some initial crashing when badly selected?

Anyways, if the problems persist, run the installation COMPLETELY over again.

Prologue is set to false automatically when installing i believe so that is n' t of any concern any more.

Well it all sounds pretty much weird to me. Where else would you seek problem, he gets some pages and game to load, but then crashes. I mean, there is something in between we are missing here.

Are you using Vista? That could explain a lot.

no i'm not so sure it would - it makes things arkward sometimes, but being a vista user this doesn't sound like one of the problems that it can cause

I got it fixed yesterday. I don't know what the problem was but I had to completely uninstall RTW and reinstall SPQR for it to work. It's all good now, thanks for the help guys.
