No, the state of Texas is basically telling the Federal Government "respect the Division of powers, Texas will handle the affairs the Constitution grants her authority over". Democrat, Republican, or independent a like should be happy with this decision. Perhaps the constitution will actually be respected from now on?

There are supposed to be 20 other states going through the process of passing similiar bills. Kentucky is one of them.

What it means is that the state now reinforces and gives notice that it has , and will use it's power to ignore laws that overstep the governments authority as laid down in the constitution.

Namely gun laws that restrict the second amendment could be declared null and void as well as a connucopia of other Bill of rights trashing laws.
