Default Javelin Animation, Javeling Min Times, Skirmish Ranges

Congrats on releasing the first Roman mod for M2TW! Can't wait to play it more.

I was wondering if you were using the vanilla M2TW javelin animation, or if you created your own? The vanilla animation is very slow, and I'm not sure it's really suitable to this time period since it's difficult to get even one full volley of javelins off sometimes before the unit reaches you.

Also, I looked at the EDU and noticed that you have "25" as the min delay between attacks for javelins:
    stat_pri 5, 5, plumbata, 40, 5, thrown, missile_mechanical, piercing, spear, 25, 1
This will only slow javelins down further. You may want to consider changing it to "0" instead of 25.

Finally, I played a few battles and I noticed that for skirmishers, sometimes they start to retreat as soon as enemies get within range and thus never launch their javelins at all. The skimish range in battle_config.xml is set to 40, and since many javelins have ranges of 40-45, this causes a problem. If you don't want to increase the range of the javelins then I suggest reducing the skirmish range so units won't start to retreat as soon as they get in range.

I also noticed this. My Legio Comitenses don't even get a chance to throw their weapons before they're swarmed by heriban charging up a hill...
