    Default Game Crashes on Battlefield

    Hey guys,

I seem to be having this problem with the Main Campaign only; with the Kingdoms Campaigns the battles work just fine. Soldier numbers and unit options shouldn't be a problem - my battles have usually less than 1,000 from both sides combined - and graphics options shouldn't be the problem neither - they're set at the lowest options possible. What happens is that the battlefield completely turns black and white but the background/sky is fine. Then the game crashes and I can't even read the error message that pops up because the screen is completely black. I have to hit the escape button which closes up the error message because ctrl + alt + delete doenst work. What really bugs me about this is that my Kingdoms Campaigns battles work fine - even with the highest graphics options possible! - but the ones in the Main Campaign ALL crash. Can someone please help me out?

If Kingdoms campaigns are fine then the problem is Medieval2 and probably never fixed in Medieval2. Reason? thet are two different .exes reading two different sets of files. The Medieval2 ones were never fixed when they made Kingdoms.

okay, actually i may have exaggerated a little bit.

My battles only work in the Britannia Campaign for some reason. The OTHER Kingdoms Campaigns' battles result in the same thing as in the Main Campaign.

What kind of video card do you have? What resolution are you trying to play this?
