Hi guys, i have got an problem: I wanted to play TATW DAC with another keyboard, so i plugged it in (TATW was running), but when i unplugged the keyboard, all keys worked except this one:` Thats the key where you open the commandconsole with, and i want to cheat but i can't because the key isn't working. The key only doesnt work in TATW (It even works in Medival 2 total war) I already reinstalled TATW and DAC but there was no diffrence, please help me.

Have you checked around with the other keys?
I know some have ~, others have ö or ø etc on tehir keyboards

I'm Dutch but i'm using an US Keyboard (International) i have tried all keys, but it didnt work

Try constantly holding ALT key and then clicking "2" (numerical) and after (while holding still ALT) clicking "1" (numerical). I tried to be basic... won't bother you with advanced explanation.

Doesnt work, cant i just change it in Keyboard settings or in a folder or something?

I realy don't understand how that works...

The point is that if you change the language setting of the keyboard, in the computer settings, then keys ingame will be a tad different and you should be able to find the one who bring out the console (though about all keys to play will be the same, and in any case those can be changed in Options when teh game is started if there anything that bothers you)

Test the keyboard in game. My cheat key is the one just under the ESC key. Yours could be some other. Also, start your TATW/submod, go to Options, Keyboard settings, and set to default settings.

Go to your main M2TW folder, right mouse click on your Medieval2.EXE ( application) file and go to Properties - Details. Check what Language version is there, and set the keyboard for it: If US, then try either US or United States - International. If UK, then test with English ( United Kingdoms). There are even other English Keyboards in the list.

Yeah, the language is UK, i'm going to test it with uk keyboard, what is the console key for UK keyboards?

I think on mine the ' (or @) key works but it's been a while snce I've used it.

I tried all keys, but none of em worked, i think the problem isn't the keyboard, but the game, because i can use the key in every program, exept Medival 2 total war and TATW DAC

Test them all in the campaign, we can not guess which one is it.
