Check either the TATW.cfg or the medieval2.preferences.cfg file. If memory serves, however, turning on the advisor might crash the game, that's why it's turned off by default.
How do I get more spies in early game Mordor? I built another butchery but it still says agent limit reached, I only have 2 spies?
If Gondor owns Cair Andros, can Rohan cross the river through there if they are allies?
Thanks
One butchery = One spy. You have to increase settlements with butcheries - or, IIRC, upgrade the butchery also work.
Quite sure they can not get past Cair Andros no, but have to pass the river further north or south.
In Withwnar's Submod Collection Withwnar have created a 'ferry' down at Osgiliath to enable armies to pass by, a submod I recomend all in all in case you do not use any already.

But I had two spies, then I built another butchery and it still says agent limit reached? Is it because its still early game and I need to build another butchery?
If Mordor start with only one butchery but two spies, yes

Hey all, I was wondering if someone could help me out with a question. Im running TATW 3.2 with MOS 1.50, and I was curious if there was anyway that I can change the factions of generals. Specifically, can I change Legolas from his current faction (whatever that is, HE?) to the Free Peoples of Eriador, and if so, how? (I mean in terms of editing his files, I know you can't do it in game)
American, French, Israeli and British government's ILLEGAL aggression against the Syrian people, without any proof for chemical attacks in Douma, and without waiting for OPCW to conduct their investigation..
Sons of *******, leave that poor, war torn country in peace.
If you are a citizen of one of these countries, then DO NOT ask any help from me on these forums, since, in protest against this aggression by your governments, I do not provide assistance/help anymore.
Let Syria be finally in peace.

I note that it's not a hard matter but a couple of steps that you have to learn how to fix (check the links OP for links to tutorials for some of it at least);
* you have to enable Eriador to use the Mirkwood bodyguard unit (as well as uniqe Legolas general, IIRC) in battle_models.modeldb and export_descr_unit.txt
* give the name Legolas to Eriador (may therefor be used by other generals and agents, just so you know)
* and transfere the general starting to Eriador in descr_strat.txt
Remember to always back up before you edit a file

I'm having a problem with MOS 1.41. For some reason the game just started to crash before a battle (in the middle of a campaign), when I've NEVER had this problem with it before. The desc_ files are all deleted and I"ve run the cleaner, could someone tell me what is going on? I've had MOS for about half a year now and I can't play ANY battle. I did try posting this in the MOS forum, but it seems to have been glanced over.
i play from steam kingdoms version and all the atempts i did ,with this amasing mod ,on the battlefields the gam ealways crashed.
i lowered the grafics seeral times and nothing ,10 atempts and nothing . logically i didnt tried to play in the lowest level of grafic as my CP handles TWS II on ultra and theres no point to me to play a older game in low .
help ?

May be the summer/winter time issue; test to opene Third_Age_3/data and delete the two descr_geography_new-files (backup first) and start the game.
If that don't help, look around or start a new thread here http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forum...Technical-Help

If Ngugi`s suggestion doesn`t fix your problem, do this:
Disable daylight saving settings, if you have Windows 7, 8 or Vista, go to Control Panel, Clock, Date and Time, Change the time zone, Change time zone, uncheck `Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Savings time`. Apply and OK.
If you have Windows XP, simply double click the “clock” time display in the lower right of the windows task bar. In the “Date and Time Properties” dialog box click on the “Time Zone” tab. Below the map uncheck the box labeled “Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving time.” Apply and OK.

Thank you ElvenKind and Ngugi , i will try everything and let you know.
HI, first of all, i love the mod, i got Medival only for it and its fantastic.
i have 1 question, if i lose men in my unites, is there a way to replenish them?
greetings
Yep! You have to have the proper amount of culture (How much varies by the unit) as well as the necessary buildings constructed (Again, which buildings are needed depends on the unit) and sufficient funds to retrain them. If you satisfy all of these requirements you should be able to retrain your units using the retrain tab.
It's not a question of where it grips it. It's a simple questions of weight ratios; a five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut.
